New schedule

Due to many factors, I am going to change my article-writing schedule to only include one or two new articles each week, with a newsletter once a month. Writing four articles a week is proving to be very challenging, and quite frankly, I haven’t been putting out my best work lately. So, I’m going to focus more on quality than on quantity, and hope you guys continue to enjoy the articles.

Ironically, my computer got sick last week, and I’ve just finished getting it back up and running tonight. That is why there haven’t been any new articles posted this week. But, there will be all new articles next week, and possibly one of the new features will be unveiled then. Stay tuned, and come see for yourself.

I Hate Mondays!!!

Who doesn’t hate Mondays? Very few people, that’s for sure. Instead of dreading Monday, look at it as an opportunity for a fresh start to a new week. Set a goal for yourself for the week, and make it stick. Resolve that by the end of the week, you will finally ask that cute girl (or guy) at work out on a date. Or, you will send flowers to your S.O. sometime this week, for no particular reason.

Or, maybe you’ll finally sign up for one of those internet dating sites that you’ve been putting off, because who uses those things anyway? I’ll tell you. About 40 million people do. It’s becoming very mainstream and very accepted as a way to meet people.

So, it’s Monday. You’ve got the whole week ahead of you to make good things happen. CARPE DIEM!!!

The weekend is now upon us. So, the immortal question was best posed by two of my favorite TV characters, Pinky and the Brain:

Pinky: What’re we gonna to tonight, Brain?
Brain: The same thing we do every night….try and take over the world!!!

Seriously, though. It’s the weekend. What are you gonna do tonight, or this weekend? Unless you’re one of those unfortunate souls who has to work all weekend, what’s in store for you this weekend? Two days of sitting on the couch mindless surfing through the TV channels lamenting that there’s nothing on? Catching up on work? Whittling away at that endless “To Do” list that seems to be getting longer instead of shorter?

Life is short. Get out and do something for yourself this weekend. If you are currently in a relationship, take your S.O. out somewhere. It doesn’t have to be expensive, or cost anything at all, actually. See my article on 6 Cheap Date Ideas for ideas for a good time that won’t break the bank. If you’re not currently in a relationship, call that person whose phone number you’ve looked at a hundred times, and see what they’re up to. Odds are, they’re doing exactly what you’re doing…nothing.

The point is, you’ve had all week to work, stress, and rush around. Get out this weekend, and turn the world off for a little while. I promise, it’ll be right where you left it when you get back.
